Results Germany 3rd Quarter 2019

Expectation by Industry

Expectations for the third quarter are more pessimistic than the results for the second quarter. In particular, the two major sectors of Trade and Goods Manufacturing are experiencing their second consecutive downturn, and even more of a downturn is seen in Economic Services and Education. The transport sector is also lowering its forecasts and is in last place for the first time. The upward trend in the Construction Industry in the last quarter has also been halted for the time being. Information and Communication, Financial and Insurance Services, Personal Services and also Art, Entertainment and Recreation, on the other hand, were able to correct their slight slump upwards again in the second quarter. For the second time in a row, the Health and Social Services sector is stable at the top, and Real Estate and Housing in Germany is also consistently among the most optimistic sectors.
